Getting weather forecast...

Description

This relatively new addition to the list of Frakenjura crags offers short, powerful routes on sometimes painful pockets. With a bit more time they'll smooth out, though. So if you're in the mood for one or two move wonders, this is the crag for you. A visit here combines well with Schwender Wand. The crag faces southwest, so it starts getting sun by noon.

Getting There

From the A6 exit Sulzbach-Rosenberg and entering Schwenderöd, head towards Ursensollen. About 700m later take the right towards Betzenberg and 150m after leaving Leinhof (the yellow sign at the end of town with the name of the town crossed out) take a right and park after 250m next to a bench on the right. Step back to the "Birglandweg" trail and follow it into the woods. After 250m you'll reach a bench and a fork in the trail. Take the left fork and 300m later you'll be standing above the climbing wall. There's a gully down to the base of the routes.
