1. Swoop Wall

Utah > S Central Utah > Grand Staircase > Buckskin Gulch

Description

The first wall you come to on the eastern side of the wash. The routes are all in the 5.10 range on vertical, edgy rock with the occasional pocket. This wall tends to be on the sharp side but I think it will clean up as time goes by.  

Getting There

1st wall on eastern side of the canyon, 1/4 mile from the parking spot.

[Hide Comment] There is a nice new moderate route to the right of Unknown #3. It is marked by the large rock scar from a freshly pried block. Not realizing it was a new route (we thought were on one of the old "Unknown" routes) we added chains and cleaned a bunch of loose flakes off of it. We were going to add a bolt in between the 4th and 5th bolts but that's about the time were realized we were on a fresh route. We did not add the bolt but we would like to recommend it or get permission to add it. If you created this route please contact me. I would love to get accurate info into the print guidebook. It's a fun line! May 9, 2021
