Description

A free-standing pillar, easily visible from the bottom of the canyon. Only about half as tall as the surrounding walls, thus the name. Good rock on this thing because of some water streaks.

Getting There

Find the Jolly Roger boulder in the bouldering section. Head past that boulder following a faint trail or the path of least resistance. It's a good idea to spot the pillar before you head up the hill because it can be hard to see where you're going once you're in the brush.
