The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description
This is the lower and more easily accessible Tier with a number of quality crack and face routes.
Getting There
Head south from the parking area, skirting the sound end of Split Dome and then head east to the obvious west-facing formation. The approach takes about 5 minutes.
