Description
This large but seldom visited portion of Isles in the Sky lacks the nice, fine-grained rock of the Northeast Face, but some decent cracks and face routes can be found among the sunny grain; more of a cooler weather option when climbing Bird of Fire is too cold.
The Hidden Corridor is easily accessed from this side of the formation as an added bonus .

Getting There
Follow the marked trail from the parking area, passing the Grand Canyon and Rubicon Formation along the way, to reach the base of the Northeast Face and then head left around the formation where the Southeast Face will come into view - the first climb you reach will be Pinky and the Brain. Plan on about 20 minutes for the approach.
An alternate approach can be done by parking on Park Blvd. and hiking from the vicinity of Cunning Rock and The Wedge. Plan on about 20 minutes for the approach.
