Access Issue: Do not cross private property to get here
Details
If you park at the Struble Trail Dorlan Mill Road Lot you must walk up the road a bit and bushwack behind the past the house. Do not trespass on the old mill site, it is in the process of being rebuilt and private businesses now run there.
Description
Highly fractured mixed gneiss and quartzite from the look of it. Several small outcroppings. Rock quality is good but the rock worth climbing is in short supply. Adjacent to private land on two sides and the Brandywine Creek on another, these rocks lie on within the borders of Marsh Creek State Park where the lake drains and joins the Brandywine creek. Accessing some of the boulders involves either a creek crossing or walking over a very old and in questionable condition railroad bridge...your call.
Getting There
Park at the Dorlan Mill parking lot for the Struble Trail. Walk up the road a bit and cut left into the woods above the old house (this is state park land). Skirt around the house and the old mill property and follow the creek upstream for ~100 feet to the old railroad bridge. The rock is eroded out of the hillside.
