Description

Beautiful Asturian crag with 100+ bolted routes. This crag has a great mix of different styles of climbing. Most climbs are slab/vertical but there are plenty of overhung routes as well.

The crag is south-facing and receives sun for most of the day. If you're climbing anywhere but Los Bloques, the climbing can be quite exposed and windy.

Rock quality is excellent: limestone with extra sharp chunks of slate mixed in.

Getting There

Map yourself to the town of Pelúgano/Peḷḷuno. Park beside the church. There are only about 6 parking spots.

To reach Los Bloques, walk uphill (NE) in the town until you reach the steep paved road that continues up to a large water source. Turn left, walk through the gate, and continue for 5 minutes. Los Bloques will be on your right.

To reach the other sectors, walk uphill (NW) in the town, passing 4 or 5 houses before making a left and walking through a large metal gate. Continue on the well-travelled path past the fountain/wellhouse which will be on your right. Continue walking across the fields for 10 minutes until you reach a section with some trees. To reach Océano sin límite, turn right before the fence and follow it uphill. To reach Janis and Fakir, continue to the left of the fence and you will be on the quarry road. Take the road uphill and to the right and continue towards the crag that will also be on the right. If you find yourself in the Quarry, you've walked too far.
