Point 9250

Colorado > S Platte > Wigwam Creek/Lo… > Point 9250 & Surround…

Description

This is the large dome bursting out of the trees to the west of the Goose Creek Trail. There is evidence of at least one climb on the dome. There is potential for many slab and crack climbs. The rock is very coarse grain and generally solid. This is a spectacular dome.

Getting There

Follow directions to Point 9250 and Surrounding Area.

To the summit:
From the northwest, move along the base to the right (north) and trend up. Aim for a prominent notch between the main body of the dome and an enormous boulder. From here, follow 4th and 5th Class cracks up and climber's left to a final cruxy slab, very exposed. The views from the summit are unmatched.
