Description
This has some great roadside, cliff band bouldering. Hosts a couple of moderates along with some hard projects that have highball top outs. The southern exposure of this hillside makes it a great winter spot as it melts before most of the other boulders in Rushmore.
Getting There
Area is nearby the Voting Booth Boulders and parking is the same; halfway up the hill (Hwy 244) towards Rushmore from Keystone you can spot the beautifully streaked Border Wall on the right side and up the hill, directly across the highway from Doane Mountain Rd. Continue up the highway to the pullout on the right at the beginning of a guardrail and the large brown parking sign for Rushmore, park here. Traverse east across the hillside to the Border Wall.
