Description
Park five miles up Success Pond Rd from Berlin, NH. Follow derelict logging trail for a mile to a fork and take a right and in 500 ft cross a brook and follow summer hiking trail along base of cliff though sparse oak and beech trees until a diagonal ramp presents itself (photo), and the yellow ice climb of Goldline/Yukon Gold presents itself. High up are three 60meter ice climbs that require a double rope rappel.
[NOTE: This a link is to the summer directions for the drive into the summer parking. https://www.mountainproject.com/area/111628659/north-bald-cap which may be of help if you have never been there. R Hall Admin. ]
For the slabs area, follow the normal summer path to October Sundae.
