Description
A north-east facing wall with varied, mostly vertical climbing. The wall is divided into five main sectors (listed left to right): Prairie Fire, Moon, Immunity, Cave and Sun Kissed. Most routes receive sun until mid-day, making late fall and early spring the best times to visit.
Camping options exist at the nearby Missionary Wall, or directly beneath the wall near the road.
Getting There
Follow the driving directions on the main Mormon Mountains page from i15 toward Davidson Canyon.
Trailhead parking can be found on the left side of Sheep Pens Rd, at the last fork before entering the mouth of Davidson Canyon. Follow the climber's trail downhill to the west until reaching a gravel wash. Head north (right) in the wash for ~100 ft. until the trail breaks west (left) toward the Wall of Misfortune. Continue following cairns past two large boulders and up the final hill to the wall.
The total approach is a half mile (15-20 minutes) and joins the WoM at the Sun Kissed Sector. Continue hiking south (left) along the base of the wall to reach the other sectors.
