Description

Great secluded climbing with boulders everywhere and lots of shade. On a trail that takes you to a waterfall and a bit of a scramble at times.

Getting There

Take Santiago Canyon Road, turn onto Silverado Canyon Road near the Christmas tree farm and make a quick left turn onto Black Star Canyon Road. Park at the end where the gate is.

It's a decent hike in, best to bike to the trail head marked on the map. There will be a sign saying "Black Star Falls" you can lock your bikes too (bring a long bike lock), with a trail head to the right, take it and follow the creek up to the falls with boulders on the way.
