Description Suggest change

A classic area, located along the trail leading to Flower Power Ledge, initially listed in the Franklin Mountain Range Climbers Guidebook (2010). Picnic Rock's size and closeness to the entrance to McKelligon Canyon may make this area seem like a great "warm-up" area, but this often leaves climbers biting off more than they can chew.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the trail going towards Flower Power Ledge. Once the trail begins to head up the mountain veer right towards the obvious rock feature. The base of Picnic Rock has giant cement picnic table in front of it.
