Description

Pedra Riscada is one of South America's biggest rock monoliths, known for its long multipitch routes, some over a 1000m long.
The most popular route is Moonwalker, in the southwest face.
There are also some hard challenging routes and bigwalls at the northeast vertical faces.
Climbing here is mainly technical on cristals.
Recanto Pedra Riscada offers a place to stay, where you can find climb topos and approach beta.

Getting There

The closest state capitals are Vitória/ES (350km - 6h drive) and Belo Horizonte/MG (450km - 8h drive).
The massif is located about 20km (varies from wich face you want to climb) from São José do Divino.
From the town ask for directions to Pedra Riscada, wich is a kind of local atraction. There are signs in the dirtroad.
