Description

Almost always sunny with areas of concentrated boulders. Without a high clearance vehicle the distance between sub areas here may require a somewhat longer approach; however, the climbs are worth the walk. Fort Sage offers many easy problems for beginners and also classic hard problems for more experienced climbers. Often there are people adventuring on ATV's and dirt bikes in the area; however, the area is generally empty and offers much peace an quiet when the dirt bikes are not there.

Getting There

(See Doyle directions description for more detailed directions)

Set GPS for Fort Sage road and follow for about a mile to an old jeep trail. Follow the jeep trail to the area sign and park in the obvious lot. Continue up the obvious steep hill and following the trail to a fork. From the fork continue straight up the hill to The Rock Ridge Boulders.
