Description Suggest change

The boulder is an ancient lava tube that has been eroded out into a cave right on the south shore of the Kamaole Beach Park. This boulder is a little intimidating because of its proximity to the ocean (waves are continuously crashing into it), but the water is manageable and the holds are solid (a mixture of polished and unpolished lava rock).

Getting There Suggest change

Rock is right on the south side of the beach. Park in the parking lot on the side of the main road and walk through the grass down to the beach. Walk out into the surf and look to your left, and you will see the cave.
