Description
This is an excellent newer boulder right in Curry Village (now known as Half Dome Village, or locally as Huff Dome Village. The Crump Tower hosts several high ball problems, and one may have to "hurry" to the nearest restroom depending on how much pizza you have consumed from the local Aramark pizza patio.
Getting There
Once you have reached El Cap meadow and stared at the big rock long enough, take your harness off, get in your car and follow signs to Half Dome Village. Park anywhere here and head into Huff. From the large Huff parking lot ask the residents where registration is. Rather than going to guest registration head back behind the lodging south of huff and walk around in the boulders until you find the Crump Tower. It is the large 25+ foot boulder at the bottom of the approach for the couch/ circuit breaker, you can't miss it. The uber classic "Curry Hurries" will be staring at you, beckoning you to climb its tall balancy face/arete.
Routes from Left to Right
[Hide Photo] this is definitely going to be a test piece in the curry boulders for years to come. go climb it!
