Description

This is a boulder embedded in the hillside, typical of Wissahickon Valley Park. The particularly course nature of the rock makes me question if its actually schist, however it is very solid and grippy (and abrasive). This boulder was just called "unknown boulder" by Rich Shoemaker so I gave it a name to alleviate future confusion. It gets sun during mid day and the landing is fairly good.

Getting There

This boulder is located above "swimmers rock". The easiest way to get to it is to park at or near Valley Green Inn, and then follow the trail downstream (creek on your right side) until you come to swimmers rock.
