Description

The highest feature on the island with huge hand sized cracks and grippy granite. There are plenty of fun routes each with many interesting variations. Most routes on the Main Wall are between 25-35ft high, so climbing a majority of them to the top without a rope is ill-advised. DON'T BE STUPID, a fall from the top will hurt a lot more than you might think. The top of the cliff can be accessed by scrambling up some blocky chunks of granite on the far right side of the wall. Top ropes can be set up from a variety of trees and rocks on the top of the cliff. Most of the main route move up and diagonally left so just be aware of the movement when placing crash pads.

Getting There

After crossing the salt marsh, take the trail to the right of the fork. Keep your eyes looking to the left of the trail and you should see the wall within a minute. You can't miss the large up-and-left sloping cracks in the rock face. You will have to walk a short distance off the trail to reach the wall. If the trail brings you right alongside a cliff, you've gone to far (this is the south wall).
