Description

New climbing area near the University of Alabama. Mostly bouldering routes on 10-25 ft. cliff faces. Potential for more development exists as area is largely unexplored and more cliffs can be found further down and up creek. Family friendly area, plenty of parking, and the swimming hole located near the parking serves as a great place to cool off after a steamy climb.

Getting There

8 minute drive from the University of Alabama. Head east on University Blvd. for about 1.5 miles then left on 216 East. The park entrance will be on the left after another 1.5 miles. Parking is free. Hurricane Creek Park is open 7am - Dark.
