Check ahead to see if the route or the approach trail takes you through private property and gain permission from the land owner before climbing.
Description
An exposed section of the Boulder Batholith. The mountain is predominately quartzite and granno-diorite.
Getting There
From Bozeman, it is about a 2 hour drive. Drive to the town of Glen MT for best access.
Go up Pinecreek Canyon (after gaining permission from the land owners). Before you actually enter the canyon, look to the right up the side of the canyon for a pile of large white granno-diorite boulders about three quarters of the way up the edge.
