Description

On the far left-hand side of the Chamonix Aiguilles (and a bit more in the foreground) sits the shorter, but imposing Aiguille De L'M. This is the 'M' shaped aiguille, viewable from town.

Getting There

This approach is a bit long for the Chamonix Aiguilles, and slower parties may struggle to make it back for the last lift down. Approach in the from the Plan Praz stop on the Midi lift. Walk towards the Montenvers train along the Plan until you are just about even with the L'M. Climb up the scree and possible snow/ice that can be previewed from the trail.
