The Lion's Face is a distinct photogenic feature that is located above the center of the Ameln valley. Surrounding the main Lion's face are several subsidiary crags offering a variety of adventures from shorter routes to long multipitch epics.

Getting There Suggest change

Access to the zone is either through the western Tazult Gorge (north of the village of Tazult) or the eastern Asgaour Gorge (north of Asgaour) depending on which crag you want to access.
