Description

The Blizzard crags are a series of smaller mostly south-east facing crags outside of Ida, named as they were initially explored for climbing potential in 2/2018 during a week-long snow event that shut down the higher elevation climbing. The formations range from 15-45m in height with a lot of new route potential. The rock can be varying in quality.

Getting There

Driving north on R105 take the first left towards Ida Ougnidif. Stay right through the town of Tifradn and look for a house with a large solar panel and pink wall on your left. Drive down the concrete road, park on the left off the road, and walk up a dry riverbed - exit the riverbed at a boulder painted blue and walk up terraces towards the first cliff (with the climbs Kasbopsicles and the Beckey Route). Additional climbing and route development can be found to looker's right.
