Description

Wyman Hill Conservation Area and Great Hill Conservation Area are open space areas connected to each other in Manchester-by-the-sea. There are short cliffs and boulders along the northern and southern sides of Wyman Hill. The northern band runs along side the gated off portion of Crooked Lane. The southern band lies in the valley between Wyman Hill and Great Hill. The white and red blazed trails kind of make a loop around the hill giving you access to both sides. I'm sure there are other bands and boulders out there as well, potentially near the southern side of Great Hill. This area is referred to as "Crooked Lane" in Boston Rocks.

Getting There

There is parking for 1-2 cars at the end of Crooked Lane. From Route 128, take Pine St. 1/2 mile or so. Make a right onto Crooked Lane. Take it to end where there is a gate and a hydrant. The road further on turns into a private drive at this point. Head in past the gate, and look to your left after about 1/4 mile or so. The
