Description

Across the river from the Poudre Fish Hatchery lie several nice boulders with good polished granite. While the boulders are limited, the area does hold some very nice climbs in the V4-8 range.

Getting There

Park at the large pulloff on the left side of the road just before the fish hatchery (the same parking as for bloc 1). Walk to the left of the green gate, then follow the 4x4 tracks down into the meadow. Once you see the old cabin, turn right towards the river. Cross the river by the large, overturned root system and continue past into the next meadow. Cross and go through the thick forested section, veering slightly right. From there, follow the cairn trail to the boulders.
