Description

This granite boulder has 11 established routes all Vb or V0. An anchor can be built with gear for a top rope. Sunny in the morning and early afternoon. About a 10 minute approach. Great for local climbers and Mt bikers. The 6 mile down hill McGill Trail is an awesome ride after bouldering.

Down climb the obvious low angle section facing the trail.

Getting There

Take the Frazier Mt Park Rd exit off the 5 Fwy at the top of the grapevine towards Mount Pinos. After about 10 miles it will turn into Cuddy Valley Rd. Stay Left at the fork on Cuddy Valley Rd. until you reach the parking lot at the top of Mt Pinos. From the Nordic Base parking area atop Mt Pinos take the trail on the left, Mt Pinos Summit North for about 1/3 mile. The boulder is on the right.
