Description

The east face of St. Paul peak is compact, high-quality (for alpine) quartzite. It’s 1,200 high and it’s generally lower angle with sections approaching vertical.

Getting There

Approach from either St. Paul Lake or Cliff Lake. Either one has pros and cons. St. Paul is a much better road, but a slightly longer approach. Cliff Lake is a very rough, and long road, but a shorter hike.

Use leave no trace ethics, camp in established sites or on bedrock, and consider using a campstove to minimize impact please.
