Description Suggest change

Golden Years is a crag near the top of the Ellery Bowl that hosts a handful of crack climbs, three of which are superlative. Like Golden Rock, morning sun & afternoon shade.

There is clear evidence of others climbing here in the (distant) past. If you have info about route names, FAs, let me know & I will swap in the info.

Getting There Suggest change

As for Speed of Life/Golden Rock, park at the Ellery Lake dam, cross it, hike up scree, talus, & fell field. The crag is on the climber’s right in the bowl, above the level of the now-rock-covered pocket glacier. Golden Years is about 2x the approach for Speed of Life.
