Description Suggest change

The cliff is two pitches high at this point and steepens as it goes. It is bounded on its left by a grovelly gully and on the right by the Lake District Chimney - an unclimbed dour chasm waiting for a visit from Mick Fowler.

Getting There Suggest change

From wherever the end of the road is at this point in time, head for the crag. At one point there was a vague trail connecting a couple of stream crossings, a section of logging road and a steep zig-zagging section up the scree to the crag. It is unrealistic to think that this still exists, though it may. Regardless, the crag is obvious and you can't get lost unless you've had altogether too many bongs for breakfast.
Edit: see first comment on the Bear Creek main page for updated approach info.
