Description
This is the first crag you will reach if approaching from the bottom and is home to several single and multi-pitch routes. This area gets sun late morning to late afternoon. The classic two-pitch sport route Raspberry Arete is located here, as is the newer 5.11 clip up Whistle Pigs.
Getting There
Follow the approach detailed on the main Rock Springs Buttress page. Once you reach the talus field under the Central Sector you can contour right (east) to get to this sector. Alternatively, you may find a faint trail branching off right from the main approach once you've entered Rock Springs Canyon. If approaching from the top of the Tram, pass the West Sector and continue along the base of the Central Sector until past the Big Slab area to reach this portion of the cliff.
