Boom Shankar is the name of a 2-pitch crack climb on a large hill (yet to figure out its name) off Kunigal Road from Ramanagara. The massif comprises three blocks of granite, can be considered three adjacent hillocks, with the potential for a couple of dozen sport and trad routes.

Getting There Suggest change

From Ramanagara, take the Kunigal Road (which forks left from the main road to Savandurga) Drive a little further (beyond the hillock on your right), exit right and soon make a U-turn on the mud-road leading to the brick factories.
