Description Suggest change

The Tree Spot boulder is a nice 12 foot boulder with 3-4 problems just off the the river trail. Uphill from there is another collection of boulders with the potential for quite a few more problems.

Getting There Suggest change

Walk the trail along the river for about 5 minutes, until you reach a cluster of trees with U.S. Forest Service and Geological survey signs marking bearings and a permanent survey marker in the ground.

The Tree Spot boulder will be visible uphill on the right 20 feet off the trail. It is recognizable by the small pine tree growing at the base in the middle of the boulder (see photo). There are other boulders scattered on the hillside uphill from here.
