A large continuous face that is the most obvious sector of French Gulch Buttress seen from the parking area below. There are 12 routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.11 lined up across the wall, most being 5.8-10. The face is in the sun until late afternoon and there is no shade.
The four original routes on this crag were included in the 2006 Falcon guidebook for Oregon. They called this massive face French Gulch Spire for some reason.
Immediately after crossing the creek make a hard left behind a big bush. The trail can be faint at first as it traverses the slope but becomes obvious through the talus and as it climbs steeply upslope directly to the base of the wall. Takes 20-30 minutes to hike from the parking area.
