Description
A narrow band of good rock looks out over the Brazos river valley providing shade and an excellent view.
Getting There
One hour by foot. Walk to Elm hollow either by the high trail or along the river when the lake is low.
Go to the mouth of the canyon and, as seen from the river, ascend the right hand bluff near the river.
It is a steep climb and best done by going through the trees almost straight up. Avoid chossy cliff bands on the right and left.
If you're on course a short band of limestone will appear. Go right so that you are above the river.
The first climb is a short 2 bolt job that is just before the big roofs of the Hidden Sea area.
