This is a fun boulder in a beautiful setting. Keep in mind that there may be snow here due to its high elevation. If you want to know what the conditions may be like call Fifth Season. They will have information on the conditions. There may be snow here up to late May.
Heading down I-5 take Exit 738 into Mt Shasta. Drive down West Lake Street and then turn onto W A Barr Road. After driving over the the Lake Siskiyou Dam turn onto Castle Lake Road. At the end this road will be in a parking lot next to Castle Lake. The boulder is behind the parking lot bathroom hidden by manzanita bushes.
