Description

The moderate climbs of the west face get more afternoon sun, and makes a good afternoon destination in the cooler times.  In summer, you'll want an early start - this area can bake unless it's windy.

The climbs are a bit shorter than those on the North face, but you get to the same summit with the same amazing views of the mountains all the way to the Adriatic Sea.

Getting There

This is well-signed from the main trail. Branch off to the right at the "Anica Kuk" sign, and then another right at the "Stup" sign. The trail will take you to the toe of the middle of apron.  Head right from here, around Stup, and keep climbing until you get to your route.  Nameplates on many of the climbs will help you get oriented.
