Description Suggest change

The Sandlot refers to some new additions in the reservoir area located roughly around the main parking lot. Austin Geiman, Lex Sanchez, Jordan Pace, and others have established a few hard/very hard climbs. While this region is notorious for chossy, big crystal granite, the few climbs available have decent rock quality, and with regards to movement, they are some of the best around.

The closest boulder is the "Shaolin" Boulder which is located southeast of the parking lot about 200 yards. It is a prominent wave-like rock that stands about 16' tall. There are two hard lines on that boulder: Shaolin Style (V10) and Tiger Style (V14).

Getting There Suggest change

You take US Hwy 24 west from Colorado Springs until you get to Lake George. Then you will turn left (South) on CR 90 and then make another sharp left onto CR 92 all the way to the reservoir. The main parking lot is the first left after the little convenience store on the left-hand side.
