Description
One of the older bouldering areas in the Snowy Range. Also home to the hardest boulder problem in the range. Rock tends to be good white granite, with a few crumbly blocks here and there. Now has a sport route.
An older topo and some pics of original crew exists here: http://wyomingbouldering.blogspot.com/2011/09/horatio-rock-wy.html

Getting There
From Laramie: Wyo 230 through Woods Landing, up the pass to the Colorado State line. First right turn north (located at the border sign) is Pelton Creek Rd (FS 898). Take Pelton Creek Rd. to primary fork in where left option (FS 516) crosses the creek and right (FS 898) goes to the next fork in road. Horatio Rock is easily seen from the main road. Park in first big pullout on FS 516 (before) small left two track and drainage. Walk north up the hill.
NOTICE: This area is currently closed because of the Badger Creek fire, but will reopen at some point and is not burned!
