Access Issue: Line Fire Closure in effect until 11/30/2024
Details
All Forest Service roads and access to the forest are closed due to the recent, and still ongoing, Line Fire.
Closure is in effect until the end of November, but given current conditions and precedent, it's unlikely they will open back up this season.

Getting There
This dome is directly west of Itnyre Pinnacle and southwest of Voodoo Garden. Though technically part of the Northern Pinnacles, it probably should be considered part of the northern aspect of the Western Pinnacles given it's proximity and ease of approach from Mushroom Boulder.
The easiest approach involves coming in from just below Mushroom Boulder from the end of the road (3N7A) and following a cairned and woodmarked trail along a dry river bed (just behind Stone, Canine, and Itnyre rocks), north till the gradient flattens just west of Itnyre rock. At this time, follow the cairns west for approximately 250 yards to approach the NW aspect of Slide Dome.
