Description
The Head of Sasquatch wall features routes similar in style to other routes in the Projects; crimpy, powerful, power-endurance lines up gently overhanging limestone. Some of the hardest lines in the Projects ascend the center of the Project wall, including several .13+ routes and remaining projects (which, by now, may have been redpointed).
Getting There
The Head of Sasquatch Wall (HOS) sprouts from the hillside northwest of the Bitch Magnet area. From the highest end of the Bitch Magnet wall, look downhill, opposite the routes Brother Speed, Bitch Magnet, etc. You will see a mound of limestone through the trees, which is the backside of the HOS wall. Walk downhill for about 70 yards to the end of the bluff, then turn left. The first bolted you will encounter on your left is Night Shade, a low-angle slab trending into a right-leaning ramp. 10-15 minutes from the parking area.
