Description Suggest change

There is an abundance of boulders on both sides of Skyliners road. There are generally a few high quality (and full size) lines mixed in with many shorter, more friable ones.

There are currently 4 documented zones in the 2017 Central Oregon Bouldering book, although there is the potential for dozens more.

Getting There Suggest change

If you drive North on Galveston from downtown Bend, this becomes Skyliners road as you pass through a roundabout that intersects with Mt Washington Dr. The turnoffs for the bouldering areas from this roundabout are as follows:

2.5 mi - Tick Ranch/The Deep; The Burn boulders
       - This is a right turn onto NF road 4606. The bouldering guidebook erroneously says "turn left on B-S Logging Rd/NF-4606"

3.4 mi - Mile Marker 5 boulders
       - Turn right and park immediately on NF 4610
