Split Rock Area boulders.

Getting There

In Donner Memorial State Park not far from the lake

Driving directions via the park: Pay the fee at the kiosk, then continue towards the campground (left at the fork.) As you go through the campground, a dirt road leads left. Look for Split Rock on the right and a few pullouts on the left. Shadow Rock is 100 yards past the pullouts on the left.
