Description

This is a nice area at the northern end of West Rock, kind of near the Woordbridge/Bethany line. The areas are easy to find as they are close to well marked trails. The rock is good, gritty traprock.

Getting There

Parking at the gate at 176 Brooks Road. Start up the main trail which is marked Blue and Pink. Hike this trail for about 15 minutes. You'll pass a large broken cliff band on your left. Shortly after this cliff band, you will come to the intersection of the Blue trail. This area is the hermit boulders. Follow the Blue trail to find the High Rock area. Check sub-areas for more directions and coordinates.
