Description
Secluded and shady spot along Tumalo Creek, with a few very fun problems, a few dirty painful ones, and the potential for a lot more of both.
Getting There
Enjoy a beautiful hike for 15-20 minutes west from the road/parking, along the lower fork of Tumalo Creek trail. Pass a vast amount of rock along the way, and wonder why you aren't climbing on that rock. Maybe next time you should bring more brushes and climb that rock. There are several fisherman's trails that branch off downhill, just stay high/continue straight each time. After 20 minutes, reach the aptly named Razor Wall immediately to your right, and the Wave boulder below the trail on your left.
If you get to the point where this lower fork climbs back uphill and rejoins the main Tumalo Creek Trail at the cliffband (the junction is obvious and signed), you've passed the Razor Wall/Wave Boulder already, but you are now near the Metalhead area which is 100' back east along the higher Tumalo Creek Trail.
