Description
Before reaching Alberton Rock, which also has bouldering options, there are about 5 outcrops one of which is on private property. A couple of these outcrops offer some very good bouldering.
Getting There
Directions to the parking lot are found in the main folder "Alberton" including how to find the trailhead. All the crags/boulders are on the right side of the trail.
The first boulder Frameshift is 500ft past the Park entrance sign and the gate, it is hidden by a bit of vegetation and is facing the direction you're walking in so it can be easy to pass even though its end is practically touching the trail.
The 2nd and 3rd boulder would be the "40" boulder and above it The Prow 0.14 miles (740 feet) in from the park entrance sign.
The 4th boulder "Tumble" is on Private Property located a 1/4 mile in from the Park entrance and about 130 feet off to the right of the trail. This boulder does not have much to offer.
The 5th boulder is called "Short Albert" 12' tall and also does not offer much. located 0.3miles in and 120 feet away from the trail.
More bouldering can be found on Alberton Rock and Upper Alberton.
