You walk across private land to enter this area. The landowner has been tolerant, as long as we don't disturb his land and his cattle. Please be respectful and keep this access open. DO NOT DRIVE IN THE PRIVATE LAND AND DO NOT LEAVE ANY GATES OPEN.
Description
This area is like a good wine it just gets better and better with time. It is located on the west end of the main wall. Don't let your sight deceived you. It does not look like much from afar but it is an unexpected tall and featured wall with great routes. The area is located behind private property. The owner has allowed us to walk by his land through the wash. Let's keep it this way and respect his property by not littering or disrupting their animals.
The left side of the wall is mostly shaded. The rest of the wall will be on the shade all day starting late morning (10-11 am). The rock has a little bit of all with good quality: Sandstone, cobblestone and limestone. The bottom of some routes are grainy and flaky, but it will definitely clean up with time. The routes on this wall ranges from 5.7-5.12a. There is some roof, slab and even a cool tall chimney to climb.
This is a new area so please WEAR your HELMET.

Getting There
The approach is 30 minutes from the road. You will park your vehicle before the bridge at mile marker 47. Cross the street and walk towards the bridge and jump the fence. Continue through the wash towards two big boulders. Once you have passed the two big boulder start walking west in a diagonal line towards the end of the wall. When you reach the saddle at the end of the wall turn left and around towards the wall. We have placed some cairns through the hike but it is still fairly new and easy to miss.

I scoped out this end of the cliff years ago and put it on my "someday" list. Now that work has been done, I went up yesterday to see how it looks. Too cold for me to really climb much, but it looks good. Dec 2, 2018
