Ruidoso Area Climbing

Ruidoso is a somewhat idyllic southwestern mountain town often visited by what can seem like all of west Texas during holidays and summer months. The cooler temperatures make for a nice escape from the area desert crags when the temperatures climb. There is no capstone climbing area, but rather a collection of smaller crags and bouldering spots. Many of these are in development by a tenacious and dedicated local crew, and many have simply been rediscovered. More beta will be added to these pages as I can get photos and routes are established/named.
