Description

This is a great area along a river wash with many boulders and decent approaches: mostly easy hiking, with a few sections of scrambling on the way to the Cracked Egg Boulders.

Only a few problems have been added so far with potential for much more. If any problem names already exist, I will certainly change them, free of charge.

Getting There

Park at the lot past the Bank Campground, and head down the road that splits off of the lot (NW). After about 500 feet, you will see a trail to the right that splits - the left trail for Cactus Cliff heads down to the wash.

-To access the Safety Slab, keep heading down the road (NW) for 5 minutes until you see the southern slabby face of the boulder in the wash near the bottom of the road.

-To access the Cracked Egg Boulders, take the trail, take a right at the wash, and hike down it for 8-10 minutes. Do a fair amount of scrambling towards the end, and the Cracked Egg Boulder(s) will be on your left in an open area with a rocky floor.
