Description Suggest change

The Smile boulder is up on the hillside in right fork, past the mine, facing east, and is a nice hang in the afternoons and evenings. Great stone, good landings, and the boulder is stacked with 3 excellent V10's and a V9.

Getting There Suggest change

Drive past the mine in right fork until you see a large pull-out on the right at a significant wash. There is also a wooden forest service sign at the pull-out. If you are looking up-canyon, the boulder will be on your left, and is barely visible from the road, well up on the hillside. Look for a cairn on top of a boulder that marks the beginning of an obvious trail. A short (around 5 minutes) but steep approach leads you to the boulder. You'll know you're at the right place since the boulder has a distinct "smiley" face jug on the right side.
